In June, Big Box was delighted to sponsor a sports day event for children from Forest Town School, which provides education, therapy and other much-needed resources for children with complex disabilities.
The event was organised and hosted by fourth-year physical education students at the University of the Witwatersrand, who gave up their time and energy to make sure the children had a ball.
The children were divided into colourful teams, including the Pink Raiders, Blue Avatars, Green Arrow, White Stars, Purple Power and Yellow Minions.
The kids enjoyed a day of fun and educational sports activities, along with music, face painting, a Spur lunch and plenty of other treats. The event was a huge success, enjoyed by everyone who participated.
