The Durbanville Hills Worker’s Trust, working toward improving the quality of life of employees, their families and the surrounding community, together with community members have opened a new pre-school at the farm Morgenster. Morgenster is one of the nine member farms belonging to the Durbanville Hills winemaking venture.
Its Môresterretjie school registered 24 children from six of the surrounding farms last week, and caters for toddlers up to the age of five, focusing on early learning developmental programmes , which research has shown are crucial to achieving academic success in later years amongst school learners.
